"Duke is a very unusual colt. He works hard and can be very hot headed when training or in a show but once he stops he's [very quiet and well mannered]. He works his hardest and his hot headedness makes him do better [than if he didn't have that sharp intensity]. He's fast and very agile. He can turn on a dime with just a second's notice, which is just incredible. He's a true pleasure horse [and] you can see the light in his eyes as he works. The first ever Countess foal, Duke has definately wowed us all. He's naturally handsome and rugged, like a true cowboy." Quoted from his original breeder Becki, we share the excitement of Flash's foal's successes. Duke is a very sweet gelding and will make a fine horse for anyone. He's very talented in both western and english riding, never getting the two aids mixed up even despite his young age. He's been trained by us to go both ways and is very quiet under saddle. He could easily be a horse for a beginning rider or intermeadiate to continue to train and grow with, although Duke is quite big already. We're hoping for the best for Duke to find the right dynamic for his chilled attitude.
